19th Century Seashells Watercolor Drawing, Signed, in Period FrameThis one just makes me happy, and I'd love to see it hung alongside a few Victorian seaweed pressings perhaps near an open window with salt air streaming in! I understand from the seller I bought this from that it was found on Cape Cod, and I can almost picture its maker R. C. Reynolds it looks to me gathering and arranging these shells in order to draw them. Lovely. Sold as found under glass in the period frame found it in, which shows a few chips
