Romanian Handwoven Wool Rug with Wheat and Flower DesignThis super sweet vintage handwoven kilim in red and black with cream patterned border and wheat and flower design measures just over 25" by 16 1 2" inches, with an additional 3 inches of fringe on either end. Based on my research, I am certain it is Romanian, and believe it dates from the 1960's. Woven in a classic kilim style, with a wool weft and cotton warp, it's a special small rug for a special spot. Excellent condition.
